This blog will try to explain through links to articles, blog posts, news stories, videos, or whatever, to narrate the strategy of Republican voter fraud, led by the McCain campaign, in order to disenfranchise voters, and steal the 2008 election.

Brennan Center for Justice Report: VOTER PURGING

Thanks to Brad Blog for their post on voter purging and a link to Brennan Center. The center has released a report on voter purging practices and pitfalls. It's an interesting read to see the different flawed practices used for purging the rights of voters in favor of making sure those who are no longer qualified to vote can't. It would be great if we had numbers on these things. Something like the number of voters purged, and the percentage of those voters who were valid and tried to vote.

Brad also brings up another piece to this, that being:

Republicans are out with phony "reports" and lawsuits damned near every day --- and not just on Fox "News" --- declaring "evidence" of completely non-existant "voter fraud" by "Democrats". Yet, in the meantime, the Dems continue to bring a knife to a gunfight, and, as we've noted many times of late (most recently here and here) seem to have no clue that they are in a War on Democracy being waged by their GOP opponenents.

Where the hell are the Democrats, and why aren't they raising holy hell about all of this stuff everywhere. Instead, all we get when we inquire is the same old John Kerry/DNC line, "We'll have thousands of lawyers on call on Election Day, should anything go wrong, blah, blah, blah."

So to tally the score, so far we're at this: The Republicans are purging voters from rolls across the country and in particular the swing states. They are spreading rumors of voter registration fraud by Democrats as a way to cover-up or legitimize their vote purging and caging. Democrats are doing very little in most cases to combat this.

And let's not forget about E-voting machines and how easily they steal our votes for whomever can hack their easily penetrable systems, and ill-conceived tracking methods.
